F452 Programming and Logic Mock Exam

The mock exam is to be held on Friday 11^th December.

You may wish to bring a calculator, but you should not need it.

We will go through the mock starting the following Monday.

Ian's class will be doing the Mock on the Wednesday (their double lesson).

Homework Seven: Testing strategies

Please read through pages 30 to 32 of the 3.1.2 Software (a to l) notes.

We will be going through this work on Friday in preparation for homework 8 which will be issued on Friday.

Reading for Monday 16th November

As we have lost some days teaching could you please ensure that you read through the following pages of the 3.1.2 Sofware (a to l) The systems development life cycle) notes:

Pages 19 to 21 on the topics of Validation and Verification.

Ensure you understand the difference between Validation and Verification and the different methods that can be employed to perform each of them.

Homework Six: RAD

On the back of your research you have been doing on Rapid Application Development you need to tackle >> this partial exam question <<. (we will tackle the other parts next couple of weeks).

Your task is to complete this using only the space provided as per the actual exam in January.

It is important that you answer the question carefully, short glib answers are not going to be enough. You need to ensure that you explain what you mean giving clear reasoning. Do not just make statements without backing them up.
